Yes, Merica Cleaners is fully insured and bonded. We treat your home as we would our own. However, in the event that an object is accidentally damaged, please notify our office within 24 hours of you appointment , and we will take action to provide compensation.
No. We bring everything, from eco-friendly cleaning supplies, essential oil diffusers (free upon request) to our own HEPA vacuums! We’re proud to use the best products and vacuums on the market to ensure that we leave your home looking spotless.
If you have any preferences in regards to what cleaning products we use, feel free to let us know and we’ll do everything we can to work with your requests.

Stuff is going to happen. At one point or another — for whatever reason, one of us, you or me is going to need to reschedule our cleaning. Communication is key. Call, text or email as soon as you know there is a conflict and we’ll do our best to reschedule your cleaning at the next earliest convenience. We will do the same.
You can cancel or reschedule your service without a penalty 24 HOURS before your scheduled cleaning. There will be a 50% CANCELLATION FEE if you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours of your scheduled appointment.
Lock-outs: If we arrive at a scheduled cleaning appointment and is unable to gain access to your home, $50 “lock-out” fee will be charged.
If you or your children get sick with a contagious illness (i.e. the flu, a cold, pneumonia, chicken pox etc.) please call and reschedule your cleaning. Even though we disinfect your house, it is possible that we might transport germs to the next house or become sick ourselves. And to be fair to all of our clients we prefer to wait until you are well again. On our end, we may call in sick as well to protect you and your family.
The Deep Clean service is a comprehensive top-to-bottom cleaning. We recommend a deep cleaning if you have not had your apartment professionally cleaned within the past 6 months.
To ensure maximum efficiency, we ask that you pick up any toys or clothing before we arrive. We also ask that you find a place for your pets so they’re comfortable while we clean. Following through with these requests will help both your family and us to ensure that all of your possessions are in a safe place.
During the event that one of your routine cleanings falls on a holiday, we’ll reach out to you. Our team will also remind you of any additional housecleaning services that we can provide you with so you can be prepared for the upcoming holiday. We’ll do our best to work with your schedule.
To show our appreciation, we have developed a Client Referral Program which rewards you whenever your referrals sign up for cleaning services from us. The more people you refer to our company, the more the rewards!
Remember that we guarantee our work and do not pressure anyone, so don’t hesitate to refer us to a friend, neighbor, colleague, co-worker, family, or even your office. Just make sure they mention your name as a referral.
Merica Cleaners pricing is based on the size of your home and the desired level of service.
Definitely! We want to provide you the cleaning based upon your needs so please feel free to let us know if you have any special projects or requests so that we can budget them into our regular work routine.
While tipping is not required, they are greatly appreciated. Some clients leave cash or a check on the kitchen counter; others prefer to add it in venmo payment.
Payments are due on the day of your scheduled service. We accept cash, checks, ACH or Venmo payment. If you do choose to write us a check, please make it payable to Merica Cleaners LLC.
Whether or not you’re at home during the cleaning appointment is up to you! When you make a booking, you’ll be prompted to give us entry instructions. If you have a doorman or can hide a key somewhere, there’s no need for you to be home. Or, feel free to stick around during the clean. Whatever you’re most comfortable with is fine.

We all know moving is stressful. Combine that with all the boxes that need to be packed, furniture moved, and a long list of other preparations can be extremely time consuming. Our move in/move out cleanings are designed to prepare a home for a new tenant.
Our professional housecleaning services are designed to keep your home comfortable and clean. We customize services to accommodate your preferences so you never have to worry about paying for a service you don’t need or want.
To ensure we provide your home with the highest quality of care, we don’t typically:

⦁ Do laundry
We want to make sure that all of your belongings are in the right place when we leave, which is why we leave these organizational tasks to you. However, we’re happy to clean the inside of your cabinets, stove, and refrigerator upon request.
